The tour reveals much of the rich gold mining heritage of Copeland which was once a bustling rush town after the valuable mineral was discovered at Back Creek in 1876.

Gloucester River Winery – Nestled in the foothills of the Bucketts Mountains, the rich volcanic soil produces grapes of exceptional quality. They use no chemicals on the grapes – just sunshine, rain and fresh air. This boutique winery is open most weekends (and by appointment at other times) for tours, tastings and Cellar Door Sales. Mograni Creek Estate – Established in 1998, this boutique winery is located in the beautiful Mograni Valley, a short 10 minute drive from the township of Gloucester. Mograni Creek Estate is set on 250 acres with beautiful park like grounds and sweeping views across the valley. Drop in and taste the traditionally made wines from grapes grown and hand-picked right on the estate. In addition to welcoming individuals and small groups, we can cater for tasting packages for 10-30 people by appointment or prearranged times. Take advantage of the beautiful scenery and the expansive views overlooking mount Mograni.

Riverwood Tours – Fully supervised horse ride across the 750 acre cattle and horse property. The ride crosses the river twice (weather permitting) during the ride and is a wonderful way to soak up the valley views. Suitable for beginners and experienced riders. Helmets are supplied and riders must be 10 years and over to go on the trail ride.  Led Horse Rides are available for younger children. *For ride to take place a minimum of 2 riders is required and ride is subject to weather conditions.
